A collection of Lledo Days Gone ‘Pioneers of Aviation’ diecast aircraft models. This lot comprises five packaged model aircraft, consisting of four twin-pack sets and one single model. The four twin-pack sets are branded “Pioneers of Aviation – The Bygone Days of Aviation” by “Days Gone,” each containing two early 20th-century style biplane models, likely representing WWI-era aircraft. These biplanes display various paint schemes, including German Iron Cross and British RAF roundel markings. The packaging for these sets is cardboard with a clear plastic window, featuring an illustration of a smiling pilot. The fifth item is a single, more modern jet-like aircraft model, also displaying the “Pioneers of Aviation” logo but prominently branded “THE WHITE STUFF” with the slogan “Are you made of it?” and an image of a milk glass, suggesting a promotional tie-in.
