Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A Corgi Classics 10th Anniversary Corgi Collector Club Scammell Scarab truck and trailer set, model 97916, presented in green and dark brown livery, sealed in its original cardboard box with internal plastic packaging. Also included are two Matchbox ‘Models of Yesteryear’ series models: a 1936 Leyland Cub FK-7 fire engine housed in a red box with a gold seal, accompanied by an informational card that describes the vehicle’s “froschähnlich” (frog-like) front and its role as a factory fire brigade unit with a 33-man crew; and another red fire engine with an extendable ladder displayed on its pictorial box depicting a fire scene. Completing the collection is a ‘Collectors Limited Edition’ Matchbox Coca-Cola branded double-decker tram/bus, marked with slogans such as “Delicious and Refreshing” and “Enjoy Cooling Refreshment,” currently out of its red display box. All models are constructed from die-cast metal and plastic, displaying clear brand, series, and specific model identification text.
