Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A pair of Native American Santo Domingo shell and Spondylus heishi necklaces. The first necklace, positioned on the left, is a single strand composed predominantly of flat, irregular heishi-style beads in off-white, cream, and pale yellow-tan hues, presumed shell, interspersed with sections of bright pinkish-red chip beads, presumed Spondylus shell. It secures with a brass-toned barrel clasp. The second necklace, on the right, is also a single strand, characterized by a mix of irregular, larger, chunky white and cream-colored pieces, presumed shell or coral, accented with smaller pinkish-red chips, presumed Spondylus shell, and a few larger, smooth, spherical beige beads, presumed wood or bone. This necklace also utilizes a brass-toned barrel clasp. No visible hallmarks or maker’s marks are present on either necklace.
