Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A vintage Wedgwood Jasperware jewelry set, consisting of a brooch and a pendant necklace, presented in its original dark blue hinged box with a cream satin-lined lid and a yellow velvet-lined base. Both jewelry pieces feature oval Wedgwood Jasperware plaques; the brooch displays a white bas-relief classical scene on a sage green ground, while the pendant showcases a single white bas-relief classical figure on a light blue ground. Both plaques are set in gold-tone metal frames, with the brooch having a beaded edge and a functional pin clasp, and the pendant suspended from a fine gold-tone chain. The reverse of the pendant is faintly marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND”. An accompanying aged paper insert inside the box clearly states “Wedgwood Jasper Jewellery”.
