An Antique Graduated Cherry Amber Bakelite Faturan Bead Necklace. This necklace is composed of numerous dark red, ovoid-shaped beads, appearing to be an early plastic or resin, likely Bakelite or Faturan. The beads possess a glossy finish and transition from larger at the center to smaller near the ends. They are strung on a visible light-colored natural fiber cord and secured by a simple, tarnished metal hook-and-eye clasp.
