A pair of modern necklaces. The first necklace features a sterling silver box chain, marked ‘925’ on its bale, suspending a sizable oval cabochon pendant set in a bezel. The central stone is a dark blue, mottled material consistent with sodalite. The second necklace consists of a fine-link chain supporting a slender vertical bar pendant, which is prong-set with five graduated, oval-cut, faceted stones displaying a translucent purple-blue hue, characteristic of tanzanite or iolite.
