A 1998 British Britannia silver coin, struck by the Royal Mint with a frosted finish, depicting the allegorical figure of Britannia holding a trident and shield on the reverse, designed by Philip Nathan. The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is composed of 958.4/1000 silver and is marked “ONE OUNCE FINE SILVER.” It is presented within a clear protective capsule and housed in a dark blue velvet-lined display case. Accompanying the coin is a “Certificate of Authenticity” from “THE HISTORIC COINS OF GREAT BRITAIN,” confirming its specifications and noting its limited edition status. The certificate bears the serial number “056/2242.”
