Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
An antique or vintage pocket lighter, likely crafted from brass or bronze, exhibiting a dark, aged patination. The oblong, tank-shaped body features two projecting components on its top surface: a knurled striker wheel on a pivot and a hexagonal screw cap, presumably for the wick or fuel. Each side of the body is adorned with an oval, engraved plate, bordered with a zig-zag pattern. One plate bears the engraved initials “Gambra?.”, while the other reads “Arras”, both positioned below a central, cross-hatched emblem resembling a flattened hat or sieve.
