A group of Matchbox by Lesney Queen’s Coronation Gold State Coach miniatures, circa 1953. This lot comprises two miniature cast metal figurines depicting ornate state coaches. One coach is complete with an attached six-horse team and three riders. The second coach is separate and lacks its corresponding horses; a single loose horse figure is also present. The pieces are executed in a detailed, historical or ceremonial style, representing a royal or grand procession carriage. Constructed from a silver-toned cast metal alloy, likely pewter, with painted accents of off-white, red, and gold on the horses and riders. No discernible manufacturer’s marks or text are visible on the items themselves.
