A pair of antique cased scalpel sets. Each set is housed in a dark, oblong case, likely leather-bound, featuring an ornate gilded metal clasp. The interior of the foreground case is lined with purple velvet, while the background case is lined with red velvet. Each case contains two slender, pointed silver-toned metallic instruments.
