A pair of cased precision instruments. The first set, by Weiss & Son, London, is housed in a rectangular wooden box with brass hardware and a red velvet lining. It contains three slender, silver-toned metallic tools, one featuring a looped end. The interior lid is stamped with a circular black mark reading ‘WEISS & SON LONDON 32Y OXFORD ST’. The second set is presented in a black, possibly leather-covered or lacquered wooden box, also with brass hardware and a red velvet interior, holding two similar metallic instruments. Both sets date to the early 20th century.
