Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A pair of vintage pocket lighters. The first, an Art Deco ‘The Roller Beacon’ lighter, likely by Parker or Parker Beacon, is of rectangular form in silver-toned metal (likely plated brass or nickel). It features a ribbed top and a finely textured, possibly engine-turned, body. A side-mounted screw is marked “PATENT AG,” “REG DES,” “466067,” and “616155.” The side panel is engraved “THE ROLLER,” “MADE IN ENGLAND,” and “N. BEACO,” indicating a British origin. The second lighter is cylindrical, made of brass with heavy patination. It consists of a main body and a separate cap, which bears a diamond-shaped logo enclosing the word “ZEZA.”
