An antique or vintage album, bound in a red textured cover, likely leather or faux leather, with “Album” embossed in gold script on the front. The interior features thick pages, some with gilded edges, varying in color including cream and light green. Contents include illustrations in a late 19th to early 20th-century style, such as cartoon baby faces. A detailed black-and-white drawing of a sleeping figure is present, signed “J. W. Riley.” Handwritten text includes an excerpt of poetry with visible lines: “…to grumble and complain. It’s just as cheap and easy to rejoice, when God says out the weather & sends you.
