A Women’s Royal Voluntary Service Long Service Medal. This modern silver-toned metal medal features the raised text “SERVICE BEYOND SELF” across its upper half, encircling a central design of flowering sprigs and an overlapping ‘VW’ or ‘WV’ monogram. It is suspended from a multi-striped fabric ribbon with a central green stripe flanked by white, then red stripes at the edges. The medal is presented in a dark green hinged display case with a red velvet interior and white satin lining.
