A pair of decorative busts by A. Giannelli, crafted from a white cast material consistent with recomposed stone or alabaster resin, a medium often utilized by the artist. One bust depicts a female figure with an elaborate updo hairstyle and a highly decorative, ruffled collar, consistent with Giannelli’s ‘Woman in a Medici Collar’ model, resting on an integrated, slightly yellowish base. The second bust portrays a male figure adorned with an 18th-century powdered wig, ruffled jabot, and coat, clearly inscribed ‘MOZART’ on its front base.
