A German blown etched glass beer stein, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, featuring a clear glass body with a fluted base. The body is decorated with etched motifs of wheat stalks and clover-like patterns. It is fitted with a plain hinged pewter lid and an ornate thumb-lift. Accompanying this is a pewter tankard, adorned with an engraved depiction of a large, stylized dragon that wraps around its body. Above the dragon, an inscription reads: “S/L BILL HOFFMAN A.F.C. FANNAN COVE 26.8.63 A GALLANT EFFORT,” identifying it as a commemorative piece, likely from August 26, 1963, for a Squadron Leader awarded the Air Force Cross.
