A collection of three items, comprising a weighted silver-based crystal candlestick, a silver tapering shaker, and a cut-glass jar with a silver lid.
The candlestick features a faceted crystal stem rising from a round, weighted silver base. The base is marked “FILLED”, “H A C” or “HA CO”, and bears British hallmarks including a lion passant, an anchor for Birmingham, and a date letter ‘q’, indicating a circa 1915-1916 manufacture. A paper label on the stem reads “3923”.
The tapering silver shaker’s base displays British hallmarks and a “S&C CO” or “SEC CO” maker’s mark.
The small cut-glass jar has a faceted body and a starburst base, topped with a silver lid intricately engraved with a crest or monogram. The lid is marked “0000” and contains an internal paper label marked “1251 R.W.” or “P.M.”.
