Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A collection of eight antique and vintage objects. The group is highlighted by an early 19th century Royal Crown Derby cobalt, gold floral pattern coffee can, inscribed ‘A Present From Siloam’. Also included are three wooden items: a tall, turned lidded container; a smaller, lidded barrel-shaped container; and an open, turret-form container. Two small, lidded metal tins are present: one depicting a dog listening to a gramophone, marked ‘DIE MEISTERSTIMME’ (The Master’s Voice) and ‘SUPE TONE’, and another labeled ‘SONGSTERS NEEDLES’ from Sheffield, England. Completing the lot are a small, round ceramic pot adorned with a painted crest and gilt rim, and a spherical, dark metal object with an attached chain and clip.
