A mid-to-late 20th century red, rectangular, velvet or flocked jewelry music box, featuring a gilt border decoration and a brass-tone latch. The interior is fitted with a mirror and two dancing ballerina figurines, along with multiple compartments lined in red velvet. The box contains a diverse assortment of costume jewelry, including a collection of necklaces with faux pearls in multiple colors, black and clear faceted beads, and several silver-tone chains, some with cross pendants or a prominent pink/purple gemstone pendant. Also present are two gold-tone wristwatches (one with an expansion band, one with a textured link band), a gold-tone signet-style ring, and various other small silver-tone chains and findings. Several white stickers with the number “3846” are adhered to the box and one item.
