A 44 piece set of BWM & C ‘Kings Lynn’ blue and white transfer-printed dinnerware. This substantial quantity of ceramic tableware primarily comprises numerous plates, two distinct lidded tureens or covered serving dishes, and smaller bowls or gravy boats. The consistent decorative style features intricate floral and scroll motifs on a white ground, with some pieces exhibiting scalloped edges. A prominent backstamp on one item clearly displays a crowned shield emblem with ‘BWM & C’, ‘KINGS LYNN’, and ‘CAULDON ENGLAND’ below, accompanied by impressed numerals ‘S’ and ‘2’. The material appears to be earthenware or ironstone.
