Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A group of decorative objects, led by a cream-colored Royal Doulton ceramic plate. The plate features a portrait of a gentleman and the inscription “Der Stumpf” (The Stump) on the front. The reverse is clearly marked “MADE IN ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND”, “ENGLAND”, and “D.6282.” alongside the Royal Doulton crown. The lot also includes two painted ceramic or resin figurines: one depicting a male captain or sailor in a yellow jacket, and another of a male musician in a red jacket playing a cello-like instrument. Below these sits an irregularly shaped, rustic-textured vessel, possibly ceramic or natural stone. Completing the arrangement is a boxed set of four square decorative items, likely placemats or coasters, enclosed in plastic and string, featuring a vibrant yellow and orange floral motif.
