An Elizabethan Popular 200 reel-to-reel tape recorder, dating from the mid-20th century. This portable unit is housed in a grey textured vinyl or leatherette suitcase-style case with a beige and grey plastic control panel. It features two clear plastic reels loaded with magnetic tape. Visible controls include “RECORD,” “START,” “STOP,” “VOLUME,” “TONE,” “ON/OFF,” “TRACK,” and input/output jacks labeled “MIC,” “RADIO,” “MONITOR,” and “SPKR.” The inside of the lid bears a circular gold sticker with the brand name “ELIZABETHAN” and the manufacturing origin “MADE IN ROMFORD, ENGLAND.” A coiled power cord with a white plug is included.
