Buyer's premium:

A diverse collection of vintage and modern items, primarily featuring railway-themed memorabilia. Central to the lot is a large, ornate silver-plated serving tray, decorated with intricate scrollwork and floral engravings. Also included is a brass trivet or stand, marked “1901,” featuring a perforated design; a rectangular wooden box with multiple hinged metal compartments, marked “STD,” possibly a coin sorter; and a patinated brass or bronze cup with a decorative scalloped rim.
A substantial portion of the lot relates to ASLEF (Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen, established 1880), comprising multiple new-in-package leatherette keyrings and six round faux-leather coasters – five green and one red – all depicting various steam locomotives and the “ASLEF” logo, with the red coaster additionally marked “THE CLUNCASTLE.”
Completing the array are a small oval brass token marked “4 COMMON ROOM,” a chrome-plated flip-top lighter, a small metal box, and a pair of metal pliers or a ticket punch.
