A His Master’s Voice (HMV) Model 101 Portable Gramophone, circa 1925-1927. Housed within a dark, possibly leatherette-covered carrying case with metal clasps and hinges. The interior features a wooden deck with a brown felt-covered turntable and a polished metal tonearm with an integrated soundbox. The inside of the lid displays the iconic “His Master’s Voice” logo, depicting a dog listening to a gramophone, along with the manufacturer’s inscription: “The Gramophone Company Ltd. Hayes, Middlesex.” A yellow sticker bearing the number “57922” is also present on the lid.
