A pair of antique fireplace tools, comprising a poker and a shovel. Both implements feature dark-colored metal shafts, likely iron or steel, with decorative turned brass handles and finials. The shovel has a cast iron head, detailed with a pierced, radiating pattern of holes and slots. The poker features a plain, tapered point. A white adhesive sticker marked “260” is present on the brass handle of the poker, and a faint, indecipherable rectangular mark is also visible on the side of the same handle.
Approximately 28 inches (71.1 cm) in length.
