This lot presents two decorative items. The first is a small, rectangular hinged box designed to resemble a miniature book, crafted from a silver-toned base metal with a textured surface and an oval brass-toned escutcheon on its lid, secured by a small clasp. The second item is a square-shaped brooch or badge made from a dark, heavily patinated base metal with a rustic, irregular texture, centered with a prominent domed cabochon of mottled red and black material, possibly stone or glass. Its reverse side is brass-toned and features a basic pin mechanism.
