Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
This lot presents a collection of five items, primarily fraternal or commemorative regalia, dating to the late 20th century. The centerpiece is a large, silver-toned medal with a light blue and red striped ribbon, surmounted by a bar inscribed “1992.” Its obverse features a light blue enamel border bearing the inscription “275TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FORMATION OF THE GRAND LODGE OF ENGLAND” and a central motif of crossed flags. The reverse is marked “IAN ALLAN Regalia.” Accompanying this are two smaller, circular gold-toned medals, each with blue and white enamel detailing a shield crest, suspended from light blue and cream-colored ribbons respectively. These bear the inscriptions “WEST LANCASHIRE ROYAL ARCH JEWELS CHARITY JEWEL,” with one reverse marked “W.BRO. A.S. BRADLEY.” The collection also includes a miniature silver-toned ceremonial sword with a cruciform hilt and a simple gold-toned stick pin. All items are constructed from various metals and textile ribbons.
