A vintage church collection pouch, comprising a square-shaped, richly woven red fabric panel, possibly silk or a blend, featuring a subtle damask-style pattern. The panel is edged with a gold cord trim. A prominent gold-colored, embroidered cross, resembling a Greek cross or cross potent, is centrally placed on the textile. The fabric panel is attached to a turned wooden handle. The light-toned wooden handle exhibits a visible grain and a ribbed grip section, joined to the fabric element by a brass-colored metal collar.
