A pair of antique-style walking sticks, each featuring a distinct figural cast metal handle mounted on a wooden shaft. The first cane, with a lighter-toned wooden shaft, is topped by a detailed horse head handle displaying a silvery-grey patina, likely spelter or a similar base metal, above an ornate band. The second cane, with a darker-toned wooden shaft, features a handle sculpted as a bulldog-like head, exhibiting a darker, bronzed or brassy finish, complete with a studded collar and a light-colored inlay for one eye. Both items show wear consistent with age and use, including patination on the metal elements and surface marks on the wooden shafts.
