A Modern Toys ‘Western Special Locomotive’ tin lithographed battery-operated toy train, made in Japan. This vintage toy locomotive is styled as a classic steam engine, featuring a teal-green body with elaborate gold, red, and black lithographed details. It has red spoked wheels, a yellow smokestack collar, and a black domed smokebox. The cab side displays “WESTERN” in red text and depicts a driver figure. A small yellow sticker with the number “5” and an additional symbol is affixed to the cab roof.
