Buyer's premium:

A rectangular commemorative wooden tray or framed board, dating to the mid-20th century. The central panel is crafted from light-toned wood, possibly oak, and is encircled by a darker wooden frame. The piece is fitted with brass-toned metal handles on either side. The light wood surface is extensively covered with numerous handwritten signatures in various inks. A central brass plaque is engraved with the inscription: “IN LOVING MEMORY OF BERNARD SIMPSON WHO DAREN [sic] TO SPELL ‘LAST ORDERS’ DURING THE ‘ MAY 3RD 1958.”
