A pair of framed mixed media works on paper, likely watercolor and/or ink, executed in a distinct Surrealist or Visionary style. The artwork on the left, signed “Douglas Earle – 74” in the lower right, depicts abstract organic forms including a large, chained, hand-like figure in a landscape. It is presented in a wooden frame with a gold accent and a white mat. The piece on the right, signed “D Earle 80.” in the lower center/right, features two trees, mountains, and large hands reaching over a spiked wall. This work is set in a silver-toned metal frame with a dark green mat. Both works are presented under glass.
