This framed artwork depicts a snow-covered winter genre scene, rendered in a traditional European style, likely from the late 19th or early 20th century. The composition features a quaint, snow-laden cottage with a figure at its entrance observing a brown donkey and a dark-colored donkey-like animal in the foreground. Another figure in a red coat smokes a pipe near a wooden fence to the left. The artwork is housed within a gilded wooden frame with a prominent inner green decorative border.
