The print shows a propeller-driven military aircraft viewed head-on and ascending through a dramatic, cloudy blue and grey sky, featuring characteristic circular insignia (roundels) on its wings. It is presented under glass within an ornate, gilded wooden frame. A vertically oriented label with ‘Bernard F. Smith.’ is visible on the upper left side of the frame.
