Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A collection of approximately twelve framed artworks and decorative items. The collection includes a watercolor depicting a mining structure, signed “Rosemarie Abrahams 1978”; an etching of Big Ben with a visible signature “Rechert”; a pair of charcoal or pencil portrait drawings of men, both signed “Charlesen Huggins”; a watercolor of sailboats; a textile collage with a landscape motif; and an embroidered piece titled “An English Village”. Also present is a watercolor bearing a label “A WHISTLE STOP” by W. Hildebrand, and an Indian miniature painting featuring untranslated script, accompanied by a label identifying it as “THE HUNT OF BILAUVERY’S AN INDIAN MINIATURE C. 1820”. Frames are predominantly wood, exhibiting a range from ornate gilt and dark stained traditional designs to simpler painted and contemporary profiles.
