Another Great Auction from Doncaster Auction Centre, including Jewellery, Collectibles, Vintage, Retro, A Real Eclectic Mix
A collection of die-cast model aircraft and spacecraft, primarily by Dinky and Corgi. Comprising approximately ten models of metal construction with painted finishes, representing various historical periods and themes. The collection includes modern military jet fighters, such as a Tornado and a Lightning-type aircraft, featuring RAF roundels and camouflage. Also present are propeller-driven WWII-era planes displaying both RAF roundels and German Balkenkreuz insignia, a black ‘U.S. AIR FORCE’ marked jet, a white Space Shuttle, and a lunar lander model. One yellow propeller plane is clearly marked ‘DINKY TOYS MADE IN ENGLAND.’ Many models are individually contained in clear plastic bags within separate compartments of cardboard boxes, and some include clear plastic display stands.
