Another New Auction
This lot comprises a traditional style hardwood dressing table and a coordinating small cabinet. The dressing table features a rectangular, swivel mirror supported by turned uprights, surmounting a tabletop with a shaped splashback. The table itself is constructed with a central kneehole arch flanked by two pedestals, each containing multiple drawers fitted with brass drop-ring handles and decorative escutcheons. The accompanying cabinet is square-shaped, featuring a flat top and two drawers, also fitted with brass ring handles. Both pieces appear to be crafted from a dark-stained hardwood, possibly mahogany or a similar species. No visible text or manufacturer’s markings are present on either item.
