Another New Auction
A group of two modern butane lighters. The first is presented in its original silver cardboard retail packaging, labeled “LIGHTER SMOKING SET” and detailing “Refillable Butane Adjustable Flame Child Resistant.” This lighter features a dark, possibly gunmetal finish and an ergonomic design, with a central oval insert depicting a blonde, fair-skinned woman, nude from the waist up, against a tropical background, in a classic pin-up style. The second lighter is a white rectangular model, likely plastic with a metal top, clearly marked “Monarch Airlines” and adorned with the airline’s “M” emblem in orange and black stripes; it is currently displayed in a small, light-colored wooden stand. Both lighters and the packaging are consistent with late 20th to early 21st-century manufacturing.
