Another New Auction
This lot comprises five assorted metal pendants and charms, varying in style and material. Included is a brass or bronze-toned oval locket featuring a central red cabochon. Another piece is a square open-frame pendant of similar tone, housing an aged portrait and currently fitted with a bent wire for suspension. Two silver-toned items consist of a religious medal inscribed with “ROMA” and “CATAC. COMBE DI S. CALLISTO” (Catacombs of Saint Callixtus) surrounding a Chi Rho monogram with Alpha and Omega symbols, and an Asian-style pendant featuring the Chinese character “福” (fú, meaning fortune or blessing) above a lotus-like base. The final piece is a silver-toned figural rabbit charm accompanied by an attached enamel-faced oval drop charm reading “I’m late”.
