Another New Auction
A Sitzendorf polychrome porcelain figural group depicting a woman dressed in an 18th-century pastoral style, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, green bodice, pink overskirt, and a white underskirt profusely decorated with painted flowers. She holds a small black and white dog, while a lamb rests at her feet amidst applied floral and foliate elements on a naturalistic, rock-form base with gilded scrollwork accents. The underside of the base features a blue underglaze crowned mark with crossed sword-like elements, along with incised or painted numbers including “20” and “GL. 122 S” and possibly “05” or “95”.
