Buyer's premium:

A set of six replica golf balls, titled ‘THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GOLF BALL’, dating to the 1900s. This educational or commemorative display set features a dark-stained wooden box base with a cream-colored, possibly ceramic or resin, molded tray. Each spherical replica is distinctly styled to represent a period: a smooth dark wooden ball, a textured light brown ‘Feathery’ ball, a patterned ‘Gutta Percha’ ball, a red ‘Machine Cutty’ ball, a cream and brown patterned ‘Haskell’ ball, and a white ‘Modern’ dimpled ball. Corresponding labels beneath each read: “WOODEN c.1590,” “FEATHERY c.1700,” “GUTTA PERCHA c.1850,” “MACHINE CUTTY c.1890,” “HASKELL c.1900,” and “MODERN.”
