Another New Auction
A collection of approximately ten badges, medals, and a commemorative coin, predominantly relating to the Boys’ Brigade and other fraternal and service organizations, displayed on a black velvet-like surface. Noteworthy pieces include various silver-tone badges, some diamond-shaped with “B+B” and anchor motifs, a “LONG SERVICE” badge, a star-shaped “CHURCH LADS BRIGADE TRAINING CORPS” badge, and a rectangular brass bar engraved “TOP SQUAD 1960-61 NO. 4 SQUAD”. A gold-toned medal with a red, white, and blue ribbon features “GROVE HOUSE ORPHANAGE HARROGATE R.A.O.B. G.L.E.” (Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Grand Lodge of England). A modern “THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE 2022” commemorative medallion, in excellent condition within a plastic sleeve, is also present. Materials consist primarily of brass, bronze, and silver-tone base metals, with some enamel detailing.
