Another New Auction
A collection of sixteen British Sixpence coins, primarily from the reigns of George V and George VI, dating between approximately 1918 and 1937. The coins are struck in a silver-colored metal, with one appearing significantly darker due to heavy toning or possibly different composition. Obverses typically feature the monarch’s bust with inscriptions such as “GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT. OMN. REX F. D. IND. IMP.”, while reverses display the denomination “SIX PENCE” alongside various royal monograms (e.g., GVRI) or floral motifs like oak branches and national emblems. Visible dates include 1933, 1929, 1937, 1936, 1920, and 1918.
