A 1996 Royal Mint United Kingdom 9-Coin Proof Set. This collection is presented in an acrylic display case with a dark frame and black velvet-lined interior. The set comprises nine metallic British coins in copper-tone, silver-tone, and gold-tone finishes, primarily dated ‘1996’. Visible denominations include 1 PENCE, 2 PENCE, 5 PENCE, 10 PENCE, 20 PENCE, and a 50 PENCE coin featuring Britannia. The set also includes a gold-tone coin with a football design, a smaller gold-tone coin, and a larger commemorative silver-tone coin showing flags and the dates ‘1926’ and ‘1996’. Designs include a rose, lion, and Britannia. A rectangular plaque marked ‘Elizabeth R 1996’ is also present. An accompanying cream-colored ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ confirms the ‘1996 UNITED KINGDOM Proof Coin Collection’.
