Another New Auction
A collection of mid-20th century British pre-decimal coinage, primarily silver-colored metal coins, housed within a black, two-compartment plastic tray. The visible coins predominantly feature the younger effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, circumscribed with “ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F:D:”. Reverse designs include “TWO SHILLINGS” (florins) depicting a Tudor rose, and “ONE SHILLING” (shillings) with quartered national emblems. Visible dates span from the late 1950s (e.g., 1958, 1960, 1961) to the mid-1960s (e.g., 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967).
