Another New Auction
A group of five Wedgwood ‘Peter Rabbit’ ceramic mugs, each adorned with illustrations in the classic Beatrix Potter style, depicting scenes and characters from “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” series. The designs feature anthropomorphic rabbits, including Mrs. Rabbit with her children, Peter Rabbit, and a scene involving a red British pillar box marked “Post.” Legible text on the mugs includes the opening line, “Once upon a time there were four little rabbits, and their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter.”, and the phrase, “Now run along and don’t get into mischief.”
