Another New Auction
A collection of costume jewellery presented in a black, faux-leather two-tier jewellery box. The box features a brass-tone clasp, a gold-tone decorative border, and is lined in red velvet with a small mirror inside the lid. The box is marked with “1619” on yellow stickers. Contents within the box include an assortment of mixed-metal rings, a pair of silver-tone cufflinks inscribed “DADDY,” a large gold-tone brooch set with clear and black rhinestones, and various beaded and chain bracelets. Surrounding the box is an extensive additional collection of costume jewellery, predominantly comprising beaded necklaces and bracelets made from pearl-simulants, various colored glass/plastic/stone beads (including turquoise-colored), and mixed metal components (gold-tone and silver-tone). Also present are an assortment of rings, including a prominent gold-tone figural ring, and a large multi-colored rhinestone brooch. The collection exhibits a mixed style and period, primarily appearing as contemporary to mid-20th century.
