Another New Auction
This diverse collection of ceramic decorative wares includes several Portmeirion ‘Pomona’ plates, notably one marked ‘La Guigneraie 1887’ depicting apples and another with red currants. Also present are Wedgwood Jasperware pieces, including a green footed vase with neoclassical-style relief figures and a blue lidded box with similar decoration. ‘Wedgwood’ branding, noted as ‘Founded 1759,’ is visible on these items and their original packaging. Further items comprise a large commemorative plate featuring sepia architectural vignettes of ‘The City of Wakefield,’ a footed vase with an architectural landscape, a small butterfly-adorned vase, and a cylindrical vase with botanical illustrations.
