Another New Auction
A traditional Victorian coal scuttle or hod, constructed from a copper or brass alloy. It features a scoop-shaped body, a robust arched handle secured by rivets, and a stepped circular base. Included are two associated fireplace tools: a pair of metal tongs and a brass-toned poker with a decorative three-pronged finial. A small yellow inventory sticker is visible on the interior rim, but no other definitive text or manufacturer’s markings are discernible.
