Another New Auction
A collection of Mason’s Ironstone ceramic wares, primarily in the ‘Mandalay Red’ pattern, comprising a tall vase, a small arch-top quartz clock, a square fluted bowl, and a shell-shaped dish. All four ceramic pieces are consistently decorated with an ornate multi-colored floral and scroll pattern, primarily featuring red, pink, yellow, and green tones on a cream-white ground, accented with gold rims. The undersides of the square bowl and shell dish are clearly marked “Mason’s Ironstone” with a crown logo and “MADE IN ENGLAND”. The square bowl’s pattern is identified as “Brown Velvet,” and the shell dish’s as “Mandalay Red,” both noting they are “PRINTED AND HAND PAINTED.” The clock features a white dial with Roman numerals and “QUARTZ” visible. Accompanied by three dark green storage boxes, also branded “Mason’s Ironstone.”
